It is harder to get interesting photos from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon than it is from the South Rim. The viewpoints and the light don't seem to mix quite as well, but when the light and the view come together, you can get outstanding photos. Sunny days seem to wash out the colors so you get a lot more saturation with clouds. Don't always wish for sunny days if you like to take photos.
