I am fascinated with these wind patterns drawn by plants in the sand. They are so delicate that a slight increase in the wind speed will erase them and a decrease in the speed will not move the plants. These are found in the winter in the Coral Pink Sand Dunes of Southern Utah. I haven't noticed them in other sand dune locations, but that might be a function of the time of year or the weather patterns. I will probably have another of these photos.
