OK, I promise, this is last of the wind patterns left by plants. Unless, of course, I find some more sometime. There are a lot of places in the world where there are accessible sand dunes. Arizona is not one of them. The most accessible dunes from the Phoenix area are actually in California across from Yuma, Arizona. There are a few other areas of Sand Dunes but nothing like the ones in Utah, California and Nevada. There are stretches of dunes in Northern Arizona in the Navajo Nation, but most are inaccessible except by 4 wheel drive vehicles if at all.
