One of the major attractions for birds in the Fall are these beautiful red fruits of the Chinese Pistachio or
Pistacia chinensis. These are fairly large trees that can grow to more than 60 feet tall. I have learned by experience that trees with fruit, nuts or other similar items that can fall on the ground are not the most desirable landscape plants. But I am more than happy to see them growing in places where the litter from the tree doesn't matter.
