This is a photo of a real gold nugget. Not a fake. Real gold is very heavy and is yellow even when there is no light shining on it. I usually comes in tiny particles mixed in with other minerals and is mined along with the other minerals. People do find gold nuggets and placer gold today, but there haven't been any gold rushes lately. I haven't ever found any real gold, then again, I haven't really tried to find any either.
