This is a photo of the woody interior of desert plants mostly cactus. There are very few large trees in the Arizona Sonora Desert and the native population had to rely on ocotillo, saguaro, and other large plants for tree replacements. It is also interesting that the texture and form of the plants are unique and very lovely.
