This long-toed lizard is a Southern Sagebrush Lizard or
Sceloporus graciosus vandenburgianus. We seem to come across quite a variety of small animals and a lot of plants on our trips across the United States. This lizard was crawling on a paved walkway in the Los Angeles County Arboretum and Botanical Garden. I can't guess why his toes are so long on his back feet.
