These Ring-necked Ducks or
Aythya collaris are very common in many parts of the country. These were floating in a lake near my home in Mesa, Arizona. In the Spring and Fall, we have thousands of migratory birds on the lakes and rivers of Arizona and it is prime bird watching time.
