Walking around in an old building is a voyage of discovery. It reminds me of the time and effort it took to make spaces that inspired as well as were occupied. When we go to a place as unique as the Old Courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri, we learn more about ourselves and our past than we do about the present and this is as it should be.
