It is particularly strange weather when two very distinct cloud banks cover the Grand Canyon. I suppose if you lived there all year, you could see a lot of unusual weather, but random visits depend on chance that there will be anything except brilliant sunshine. If I watch the weather reports carefully, I can usually pick a time when there at least some clouds.
