One of the things that draws attention to the rock forms caused by erosion of sandstone are the free standing monuments. The reason is simple. They are unusual and uncommon. The variety and forms of the rocks mean you can take a photograph and turn slightly and get an entirely different view; each one as interesting and outstanding as the one before.
