Three in a Row

One of the benefits of living in the desert is the beautiful arrays of Spring cactus flowers. You have to be aware of the time of the year and keep your eyes open to the subtile changes in the weather, otherwise you might miss Spring altogether. But when you figure out the right time, you get the benefit of the short-lived cactus performance. These flowers might last a day or two or maybe three, but they will be replaced by others for a period of about two weeks or so.
