Orchids in a row

The Orchidaceae is a diverse and widespread family of flowering plants. About 6% to 11% of all of the plants in the world are in this huge plant family. See Wikipedia: Orchidaceae. We usually think of this type of flower when we think of orchids, but there are many related plant species with far less prominent flowers.
