These rocks illustrate the process of erosion that creates the balanced rock. The rock on the left is on the ground. The one in the middle is on a base where the surrounding softer rocks and sand have been eroded. The one on the right is almost ready to start the process over again. Kind of makes you cautious about standing next to them, doesn't it?
