Ruins

Ruins of ancient people hold a fascination of the unknown. Even though archeologists have spent lifetimes trying to unravel the mysteries, they have little more than piles of data and speculation. Who lived here? Why did they choose this spot to build their houses? Where did they go and why did they leave? The more you dig, figuratively, into the past, the more you find is really unknown. I love to walk in the ruins and once again appreciate how much there is to learn.
