The vast inland sea of the Great Salt Lake creates its own atmosphere and weather. Since many of its attractions are very local, the vast sweep of its vistas are often ignored by visitors. There is a surprising amount of wildlife for such a desolate looking place. Even the highly saline water teems with life.
